Saturday School provides academic studies designed to nurture the scholastic potential of underserved students in Los Angeles County. The program operates on college campuses to expose families to a college environment, and to inspire the students to visualize themselves on a college campus. Our objective is to increase proficiency in core academic subjects like Math and English. We start educating students as early as the 4th grade. Students learn within a project-based curriculum, and each grade level has a unique project. Saturday School also emphasizes the role of parent participation. While students attend academic courses, parents attend mandatory classes facilitated by educational experts and community leaders.
